An Excellent Resource for Truly Effective Teaching!

Teaching to Change Lives, by Howard Hendricks, opens the door for truly effective teaching to take place, not just in the classroom, but in any teaching setting! He does this by taking his experience of over 30 years of teaching in a seminary and across various church settings and sharing with us the ways God has shown him how to reach our students.

Hendricks did a fantastic job at giving us practical insights into how we can make a lasting impact in our student's lives by doing things such as investing in their lives and getting to know them on a personal level so that we can minister to them and teach them in a way that gets at their heart.

One of the things I liked about this book is that the chapters were so clear. I felt confident that I understood what he was saying and was even able to implement some of his advice right away!

If you want to learn how to take your head knowledge and turn it into a lasting life change for your students, I cannot recommend this book enough!
